Livestock breeder

A nice place to visit with kids while canola fields are blooming. Only 1.5 hours drive away from Perth, they have farm animals for kids to pet and enjoy with, plus small canola field is a beautiful sight for eyes.

We called Roy to rehome some bees that had taken up residence in our bbq. I was a bit stressed as my husband is allergic to bee stings but Roy arrived quickly, explained what would happen next and was very professional. His fee was really reasonable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services. We also buy our honey from him - it's delicious, natural and great to be able to support a local business.

A little bit of a drive. We made it on the last day and the canola flowers still in bloom. Was a little surprised the entry fee was $15pp. We knew there was an entry fee but was not expecting such a high fee. We've been but will not be returning any time soon. There was a playground and animals for the kids, coffee truck and porta-loo and a couple of tables.

Homewrecker Delight

Roy was absolutely terrific in removing our problematic bees humanely. Over time I developed an allergic reaction to stings so could not risk keeping the wonderful little creatures any longer. Roy arranged for them to be hosted by his mate which we much preferred to extermination. He was punctual in responding, kept arrangements as agreed, polite and respectful in all communication. Would heartily recommend if you have a bee problem but don't want to use pest control.

The people running this place seemed lovely but I do think the $15 per adult entry is too steep. If there had been more of a petting zoo setup I wouldn't have minded but it was just a few animals in cages. $10 would have been more reasonable. The flowers were beautiful and we had a decent time but highly unlikely to return.

5 stars for the knowledge, experience and the view from the window is outstanding. Sheep, alpacas, and all the other little creatures make it all very exciting.

I collected my nuc from Roy on the Queens birthday weekend. As the weather wasn’t the best Roy suggested I leave them in the nuc box until the weather picked up.I transferred them into my brood box the following weekend, on inspection there was plenty brood with both capped and uncapped honey cells and although I never saw the queen the frames were all drawn beautifully. The bees were none aggressive which was a very nice surprise as I didn’t know what to expect.Roy was very helpfully and gave me great suggestions as I am a newbie to bee keeping.Thank you Roy and I would definitely recommend his services should anyone need them.
